A safe, affirming community where LGBTQ+ youth in The Woodlands can be themselves, find support, and build lasting friendship

What is TROT?
TROT (There's Room at Our Table) is The Woodlands Pride's youth programming initiative, creating a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ teens, questioning youth, and allies in our community. Whether you're looking for friendship, support, or just a place where you can be authentically yourself, TROT offers regular gatherings, social activities, and connections to resources that matter. We also provide parent support groups, offering a space for families to connect, share experiences, and access guidance as they support their LGBTQ+ youth. We believe every young person deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported - and there's always room at our table for you.
For Teens
Your Space to Belong
TROT is your community. Connect with other LGBTQ+ teens and allies, share experiences, attend fun social events, and access resources that support your journey. All teens are welcome - whether you're out, questioning, or just looking for affirming friendships.
For Parents
Supporting Your Child's Journey
We know that having a safe, affirming community makes all the difference for LGBTQ+ youth. TROT provides your child with peer support, positive role models, and connections to resources—all in a supervised, welcoming environment. Our programming is designed to help young people build confidence, develop healthy relationships, and know they're not alone.
We also offer quarterly parent support groups where you can connect with other families, share experiences, and find guidance as you navigate your child's journey.
For Young Adults
Stay Connected
Interested in volunteering, mentoring, or supporting TROT's mission? Young adults play a vital role in our community - offering guidance, sharing experiences, and helping create the affirming spaces you might have wished for as a teen. Whether you're looking to volunteer at events, serve as a mentor, or simply stay connected with The Woodlands Pride's youth initiatives, we'd love to have you involved.
